Who we are
WicketLayer is operated by Gayan Sukumal Wiharagoda Wagage. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@wicketlayer.app.
Information we process
- Account information, including name and email address.
- An optional phone number and profile picture.
- Team names, team logos, memberships and player registrations.
- Tournament, fixture, match and ball-by-ball scoring data.
- Consent records, privacy requests and content-abuse reports.
- Technical security information needed to operate the service.
How we use information
We use this information to create and secure accounts, manage teams and tournaments, score matches, provide realtime score overlays, respond to support, privacy and content-abuse reports, prevent misuse and comply with legal obligations.
Public score overlays
A match overlay may publicly display team names, team logos, player names and match scores. It does not display account email addresses or phone numbers. Team administrators and scorers should only upload content they are authorised to publish.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing is based on performance of our service contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting WicketLayer, consent where requested, and compliance with legal obligations.
Service providers and external platforms
We use specialist hosting, storage and deployment providers to operate WicketLayer. If you choose YouTube or Facebook broadcasting features, those platforms process information under their own privacy policies. WicketLayer does not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.
Retention, account deletion and security
Information is retained while an account is active and as needed for the purposes above. You can permanently delete your account in the app under Profile and Privacy & your data. Deletion immediately removes your sign-in credentials, profile, profile image, memberships and registrations. Historical match and tournament records may be retained with your identity removed to preserve results, prevent fraud or meet legal obligations. We use access controls, encrypted network connections and managed infrastructure to protect information.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may withdraw consent. Use the Privacy & your data section in the app or email support@wicketlayer.app. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Children should use WicketLayer only with permission and supervision from a parent, guardian, school, club or other responsible organiser, as required by local law.
Changes
We may update this notice as WicketLayer develops. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this page.
